Not true at all.

We have NSMB DS, NSMB Wii, NSMB 3DS and NSMB Wii U, basically 4 identical games with little different levels.

On other hand, we have Mario 3D Land 3DS and Mario 3D World Wii U, 2 games that have much difference between them than all NSMB games combine.
