Considering 3DL itself was stale the moment it came out, that's not exactly a fair statement to make. 3DW takes more from Galaxy 2 though, and that plus the charm the game has puts it near the top of my 3D Mario games personally. 3DL, contrarily, is near the bottom. I got the game for $20, beat all the main worlds a few hours, and got too bored to go to the bonus world's, which are supposed to be the interesting part.
