I use a spreadsheet to keep up with all of my games and the order in which I acquired them just so this sort of thing doesn't happen, but I still had NES Remix 2 slip through the cracks somehow, and so I wasted my Club Nintendo yearly reward on it. Luckily, I had a friend who didn't own it yet and had a birthday coming up, so it all worked out perfectly.
