I like everything you said. In my opinion, Sony should build all of their products around the PlayStation Ecosystem. Every device should run some form of the PlayStation OS, and if they want to run propritory memory, it should work across all of their devices as well.

Some of my thoughts;

Hardware:

PlayStation 4

The PS4 is basically perfect from a APU stand point at this time. In the next revision (2016) I would add 4GB of RAM (for system use only) a total of 12GB GDDR5, 2 USB Ports to the Rear, Memory Card Slots (SD and PS Vita) Front, and AC Wifi. I would ship every PS4 with a PlayStation Vue remote for simpler use of all media outside of games, this should only cost Sony a few dollars per unit, which they should eat in order to gain ground in the TV business. The 2016 model should come with a 2TB SSHD as well. That should keep PS4 up to date, or ahead of everything else on the market.

PlayStation Vita/ PlayStation Mobile

Similar to what you stated, Vita or the next Sony mobile device needs to come in multiple forms. I would merge Sony Mobile Communications with Sony Computer Entertainment, and rebrand all of the Xperia Products under PlayStation and bring them onto the PlayStation OS. Then I would bring out a PlayStation Phone, but mine would retain the Vita's form factor, and add L1/L3 and R1/R3. I would also bring out a 4G and Wifi only profuct similar to Nvidias Sheild. The combination of Slab devices, and Physical input devices would make the PlayStation Mobile platform unique in the mobile industry, and something only Microsoft and Nintendo could mimic thanks to their gaming libraries. This type of move would leave a massive hole in Google and Apples product lines and ecosystems.

PlayStation TV

PlayStation TV would continue to run on the same chip set as the PlayStation Mobile Products, and continue to be priced in the $100 - $200 price range. I would again ship every one of these units with a PS Vue controller to enhance its media capabilities, and be a true replacement for cable/satilite box. I would start shipping the unit with the DS4 to better promote the PS4 Remote Play features. The system would still run on Sony's PS Mobile Memory cards for enhanced security, and unity across Sony products company wide.

PlayStation 3

Time to put it out to pasture. It is not built on x86/ARM, and therefore it is a thron in the side of the One Sony/PlayStation Ecosystem. The unit is going to be 10 years old next year, and it has run its course.

OS/PlayStation Network

As mentioned above, I think Sony needs to go to a single unified OS across all of its products, including TV's, Camera's, Blu-ray Players, Phones, and PlayStation Computing Systems. They need to bring in the big business apps, banking, shopping, fitness, e-readers, Word Processors, Spread Sheets, Power Point, Home Secruity, Home Automation, etc. allowing the PlayStation/Sony Ecosystem to be your one stop shop. Thus, eleminate the need for a Smartphone, a tablet, a handheld, a PC, a Console, and any other set top box or USB stick. Everything can be accoplished through your PlayStation 4, PlayStation Mobile device, and PlayStation TV in additional rooms.

PlayStation 4

PlayStation 4 should be the heart of this OS and Ecosystem. They should allow PS4 external storage full support, and allow PS4 to be the hub for all other devices. Allow uploading/downloading/streaming of Video, Pictures, Music, etc. to and from the PS4 on any Sony device. PS4 should be the home of all of your downloaded games, movies, and music from PlayStation Store, and again, allow streaming, and transfering to any of your Sony devices.

PlayStation Mobile/PlayStation Vita

The mobile PlayStation products should gain apps from Sony's unified app store for PS4, PSM, and PSTV. The device would completly eliminated the need for a smartphone, while also allowing developers to take advantage of other apps within the PlayStation ecosystem to enhance the gaming experience. Being a Sony product, these devices would be able to communicate with PS4 and PlayStation Network anytime and anyplace. This would make the PS Mobile line the ultimate in gaming, communication, and business.

PlayStation TV

Again, this would be tied into the Sony/PlayStation ecosystem. It would have all of the apps built for PlayStation, allowing it to access any and all content from PSN and PS4. With mouse and keyboard support, DS4 support, and the PS Vue controller in every box, this device could handle all of the needs of a cable/satilite box, a PC, a Set top box, and a smartphone, while also having access to all PSP, PS Vita, PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 games via native support, PS Now, and PS4 Remote Play.

Games

By broadening the appeal of the PlayStation ecosystem and hardware to many more markets, the userbase would grow exponentially. This would put Sony and 3rd parties in a much better position, and make it nearly impossible for game devs, and app/software developers alike to not think about putting their work on PlayStation.

By building a brand and ecosystem around premium hardware and content, PlayStation would be the ultimate destination for AAA development, and bring back the days of exclusive content developed directly for one system, bringing the best experience possible at any given time.

All PlayStation games, home and portable would be playable on any other PlayStation device via remote play or PS Now. Thanks to the unified OS and cross platform dev enviornment, the majority of PlayStation games would be made available across PS4/PSM/PSTV. This would bring enhanced value to cross buy, and cross save functions. Games that are not capable of running nativly on PSM or PSTV would have companion apps so you can continue to make progress in some fashion no matter where you are, what device you have, or what kind of network connection you have.

Project Morpheus/New Experiences/Business

Project Morpheus would be integrated into the Sony ecosystem across all PS devices. It would generate content from all forms of entertainemnet, productivity, business, and imagination. PS Mobile devices would connect to Project Morpheus for a smaller scale gaming experience, or to hope into your virtual office. The combonation of PS4 and Project Morpheus would become the future of business computing. No more feeling cramped in your cubicle, with PS4 and morpheus your office would be as large of as small as you want it. You can have your project on one 120in screen to your left, and a model or simulation on another 120in 3D screen on your right. You can work in a virtual office, in a virtual cofee shop, or beach, on the moon, whatever tickles your fancy.

Thanks to the uniform hardware, this would be the ultimate device and setup for any business. No worry about programs running on older PC models or odd PC configs. Updating software across your business would become a walk in the park.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
