I don't know... The N-Zap `89 can make around twice as many points as my usual .96 Deco. Having one team member in Turf War that can make over 1500 points (N-Zap '89, Inkbrush, Aerospray RG) can be useful, but you need team mates to defend it. Teams with 3-4 of those weapons will be wrecked.
About the tiers: I don't know if that's useful, I've seen players doing well with basically every weapon. S+ Rapid Blasters can be terrifying (they usually make the most kills when I see them) while I can't do shit with that weapon. |
It was a long time ago so I forgot the source, but it was tested. Some are still better than others of course, but they're all relatively similar, with Aerospray spreading the most and Splattershot Pro the least, then below that group are the Blasters and E-Liters.
Like I said the game is very well balanced thus individual skill is by far the most important factor to how well one does, but there is no denying the fact that the Rapid Blaster has worse movement, ink spread, and kill potential than almost every other weapon.
