Well, you are on a sales site so talk of sales is naturally going to be a hot topic (even if the focus on these sales is somewhat lower than a few years ago). And that's my point, quality is subjective. Other people may prefer a game like The Crew due to the large open world, or Gran Turismo for its respective quirks. Which is why I feel the only metric which really matters is what you think of a game and not others opinions. Sure that's easier said than done but if you enjoy something does it really matter what others think? |
When you have many reviewers prasing a game then its a clear indication of quailty then Sales because Sales can happen based off many reasons and most times its not the quality of the product/game were as straight up reviews give a much better indication of a qulaity product, and thats why i base my claims off Metacritic and not just 1 review site either.
iPhones arent the best products on the shelf however its the top selling mobile in the world. VW Beetles arent the greatest cars in the world however sold the most cars in the auto industry. Sales dont determine quality. Never did.
