it's not really a problem, it's what Nintendo does different
however, a believe promoting an updated WiiUmote and nunckuck as primary controllers would set the Wiimote as the iconic Ninty controller, since Wii is their most successful console anyway, and WiiU gamepad as an optional/secondary controller, not focus the whole thing on the pad
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
