Actually, I think for most of the fans it's the console history that mattered. For example; I have a PC that utterly blows my PS4 out of the water, but it felt like blasphemy even considering Metal Gear for anything but PlayStation. Luckily, ALL the machines got a really good version of MGS5 so no one machine got screwed.
