So by every official metric, yes Mexico are a better team. Sorry but your 'US are better cuz I said so' doesn't really hold any water.

And US won the last Gold Cup. In fact, there's a playoff next month for the spot in the Confederations Cup. The USA has performed much better than Mexico in the past several years. The USA are better because they've consistently been a better team and have a better head to head record. You have to go back to June 2011 since Mexico beat the US.

And this doesn't really have anything to do with how terrible FIFA rankings are. Look at where they have England!
