It was time to dump it when the Wii U was in R&D. I can imagine Sony and Microsoft dumped many many crazy new ideas when they were in R&D for their current consoles. Some things stuck (like touchpad on PS4 controller) (Making new kinect and bundling it with every XB1) but I can imagine there were many monstrosities created throughout those years.
Someone in the chain of command really should've gone '...really?' and who knows how things would be different.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'
