Seeing as how we are now getting a game that takes complete and total advantage of the screen on the GamePad, so much so that the GamePad is required to play that game in the first place, ditching it now would be a terrible move.
And on that topic, I feel that the Wii U would have had a better launch sales wise, and would be selling better if it had Super Mario Maker as a launch title, (that and better marketing), because that game does exactly as I said, take complete and total advantage of the different elements that the GamePad brings to the table. It would have had it's killer app right from the get go, instead of 3 years later where it's too little, too late.

In hindsight yea. But thats asuming that nintendo had mario maker since the begining ready and just decided now to release it. Install base is the main concern now, and lowering the price wont sole the issue, but it will help a bit. Killer apps come and go and are often just side projects that no one thinks it will be good and they dont put to much effort in it, but it suprises everybody.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
