So basically what Sony does already with the PSN games on PS3 that were made to work on PS4?

Sure, if Nintendo wants to go through the effort of having to reprogramming the games to work on NX, or if they cna build an emulator that does that for them.

But no way they are doing that for ppl with physical hardware. THe fact that they make ppl rebuy the VC games for WiiU (even if you own the original) makes me think they are not going to touch disc - digital adoption. Unless there is someway to take the license of the disc or something but I am not sure how feasible that is.

I forgot how the PSP to Vita programme worked in Japan so maybe something like that.

I think NX will just be BC in the first place or they will use NX to start a afresh with software.

This is not entirely true. You are paying for it yes (which sucks) but you aren't paying the same price again. If you bought a NES game ($5) and want to rebuy the Wii U version it costs ($1) to upgrade

Also, the Wii U can run the Wii VC console game so you aren't force to even buy the VC again if you import your Wii Data to the Wii U (which is free).  Just wanted to make this clear.

Also not sure how PSN handles PS3 games for PS4, but it does sound similar to what I'm describing.
