Unless the game is consumed on a PC. I just realised, you come from a very Nintendo background. In the PC world things work very diferently. Is not rare for me to open the steam window and browse the net. Search for FAQs and Youtube guides etc. Sometimes I have my browser opened, hearing a podcast while I play or watching a let's play and playing the same game windowed. I feel sad for you. The WiiU already has flash memory reserved for the OS, I bet it does some form of virtual memory already.
