I am sure that this was posted when it was first announced, but with all of the information coming from the patents Nintendo filed I have to wonder; what are these displays for?

I do not know if this is another crazy console direction Nintendo may be going in, or if it may be a digital display for the front of the console (which would be awesome) or if it is for their handheld, or their QoL project which looks more and more like may never come. What if these screens are for interchangability? Different shapes for different type games? I don't think that is the case, but there are many applications that a free form display could have, with the new info that continues to roll out, I have heard nothing more about these. What do we at VGChartz think these things may be for? Seems like it has been a forgotten topic in all of this other information that has come out, so I'm curious, what have you got VGChartz?
