I really don't understand how people think they know THE Japanese. I hear this so many times. Like they're some kind of borg collective that can be analyzed in a lab. The simple fact is they aren't much different than us here EXCEPT they are more willing to try fresh ideas. They just have different go-to titles. Different cash-ins and different pop culture watermarks. That's all.
Folk's Soul representation on the market does not make me happy. In fact I am peeved at Sony for dashing their fans' hopes. For Sony getting so full of themselves and essentially thumbing nose at gameplayers. These people want to play games on their favorite system but Sony is not in tune with the times so good titles get left behind because their market represenation won't allow games to be viable.
This is what Nintendo fans felt like when good games came out on our system. Good but overlooked. All I can tell ya Sony fans is to make sure to snatch this up. These developers put a lot of work into it and if you want that kind of material to survive you have to support it.
Sean Malstrom was right and a new cycle of gaming is taking place. Cinematic games will be on the wane. The market has changed.
