James Bond should double the current US number, and it could make $1 billion globally all by itself. So they will still get to the end of the year with a respectable revenue. Being a relatively low budget year to date means this low revenue isn't as bad as it sounds. But it has been a pretty low quality year as well. The most expensive movie they made this year so far was $88 million, and the total cost of all the movies they've released this year so fat was $248 million. The US box office revenue (about 40% goes to Sony) was $326. So they recouped roughly half of their production budgets from the US market alone. Taking global revenues into account they probably roughly break even, which is disappointing, but not disastrous. They are totally reliant on Spectre for the movie division to be profitable for the year.
