Also, its not like the console costs 600$ like the Ps3 when launched, the Wii U is cheap. The Wii U has a very good catalog of games, the "problem" is that they are too Nintendo hardcore fan oriented. The Dreamcast had everything, from the best sports games to the best JRPGs of its time to the best fighting games of the generation. It covered all bases. I still think that the Dreamcast had a better catalog than the Wii U has *right now*. |
I own a Dreamcast (have since launch) and can say people here are overselling it, DC was ahead of its time yes but blow for blow the other consoles were better overall as is the Wii U, a lot of the DC's charm is that it was Sega's swan song. I'll say this straight the Wii U library is far better then the DC library, DC had some nice gems but few great titles even when you compare the so called variety in DC it gets beaten down.
