It's not so much that I hate the games coming out (although nothing too spectacular is coming out), its more so the lack of options/games/genres/variety. 6/10 thus far for 3ds. 3ds has brought out majoras mask, but thus far this year has kinda been subpar. A good amount of games are yet to come though, including third party, so this score may rise later. |
Yoshi's Woolly World: 2D platformer (if you like Mario platformers you should like this)
Splatoon: third person shooter
Mario Party 10: party game
Super Mario Maker: level editor (which makes it a totally different beast than Yoshi's Woolly World) anùd 2%D platformer.
Star Fox Zero: on-rails shooter
Fatal Frame V: survival horror game
Fast Racing Neo: futuristic racer
Xenoblade Chronicles X: JRPG
Pretty varied list of games/genres if you ask me... I think your problem is quantity instead of variation in genres.
