Alright, what extra-special editions are you talking about besides Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Darksiders II, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, because I'm legitimately curious. I complain about Nintendo fans not buying third party stuff all the time, but I don't endorse people paying full price for lesser versions of the same game. I've really never minded getting a late port if it's feature complete, but I don't think third parties have much right to complain when said late port doesn't sell super well.  My failure to buy it in that time period? I don't have money. I'm getting money soon. Quite simple.

Does there have to be more than a few instances? I had originally singled out Most Wanted, but decided it wasn't the only case of that happening, so I adjusted it.

As for the money, I've been there. You are excused. It brings up an interesting observation, though: you mention buying the game physically, but used. But the game costs $20 physically, and will most likely be a limited release. I doubt it will ever be available for under $17 used, and it may actually grow more expensive if it becomes rare. On the other hand, in the past the game has been on sale in the eShop for just $10, and I'm sure it will happen again. Are you really willing to pay more for the game just to spite the developers?

I fully admit that this is petty, I put my thoughts on here to see others' opinions. So far, they've been about as expected, but I was just curious. And my content criticism might just become moot soon, as Nintendo recently stated that more Nintendo exclusive content is on the way. If any of it's free, my criticism's no longer valid, and I'll get the Wii U version. Not getting the amiibo though, screw that.

I really don't want to be annoyed at this sorta stuff, but I see 3rd parties get lambasted about this sorta stuff all the time (sometimes rightfully, sometimes not), so it just annoys me that this indie devs doing it and nobody cares.
