Some of us appreciate stories that take unexpected turns, characters whose fate can't be taken for granted (thinking they'll always have the last laugh), etc. but there are a lot of people who find it unacceptable that the antagonists could triumph in the end. But having a superhero die is a tough one when sequels bring the $$$. Maybe some superheros will die once current actors portraying current comic book characters must be put to rest because of age/decide to move on. Then companies will put an end to them to be brought back later on by new actors. |
I know it'd be tough to kill a SH. The money is too great. These stories all end up being the same. Avengers and AoU were basically the same movie.
I prefer the gritty tone of Batman and Daredevil. Man of Steel as well. Had it not been for that darkness we wouldn't be getting what seems to be an awesome movie coming out. BvsS
