Best bit of the trailer was about all the wasting of the 2 most scarce resources in this post apocalyptic world. Surely there's a better way of distributing this stuff.

Are we sure Furiosa's first name isn't Maxine?

Furiosa is a bastardisation of furious, which is another word for mad, and Max is Max. So Mad is Furiosa and Max is the sidekick.

anyhow i always found it unfair that people had gripes with furiousa being the main character

 

I think the movie was great with Furiosa carrying it. It was just a mis-use of the franchise name. The name attracted a certain amount of audience under somewhat false pretenses. But people mostly walked out satisfied with the product they got, so no harm no foul. But the movie would have been more appropriately named simply "Fury Road".
