Ah, yes, americans in general are probably more violent than europeans but that's fine. Countries with various cultures in 'em or neighbors with opposing cultures seem to be this way as far as I can tell.
Law abidiing people don't fear the guns of cops. It's simple. The news likes to play it up differently than the truth in order to promote a political agenda. You're too smart to be that guilible about it. Criminals like to play at being the victim in order to get away with their crimes. It's become a trend because it works to some degree.
