Played it for about 25-30 hours, left it and never came back. I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy the combat, which is a huge issue since combat is such a big part of the game, and I also failed to connect to any character or even the lore, it seemed a bit uninspired.
FFXIII and X-2 are the only ones of the main series that I never enjoyed and it's not for a lack of trying.
One of my favorites is actually FFXII (despite the move towards real-time combat), which also gets a lot of hate, so I understand how those who enjoy it could be puzzled by others not enjoying it, and vice versa.
Final Fantasy XV looks utterly boring to me, feels like Kingdom Hearts combat, the usual spiky-haired anime bros from Sqeenix, the same violin music as ever and a glossy sheen sprinkled on top, very unlikely that I'll buy it.
