I don't want them to STOP, I want them to slow down, the functionality added to most of the games don't require new amiibos (Mario Party can use the same as smash, they only needed to release toad and that could be the bundle instead of Mario), same applies with many of the new series, yarn yoshi does THE SAME as smash yoshi and mario party yoshi, gold mario, silver mario and regular mario does the same. If they were releasing 1 amiibo per game I will not be complaining, but they are doing a full series for 1 game, for example I like what they are doing with Falco amiibo, is the smash amiibo released at the same time as Star Fox game to use some new functionality, instead of a full series for the game. The animal crossing games (specially the Wii U one) looks like a game built around the amiibos, not like some added functionality, I would prefer a traditionally developed game of the franchise that could also use the cards of the 3DS version, a not a new set of mandatory toy purchases. |
Why should they slow down when it's a huge success? If anything they should increasing far more then what they have now.
