Welcome back to the Pokemon Olympic Games! Today, we'll have the fastest competition on land and the competition where the winner will be known as the faastest Pokemon alive on land, the Running Sprint! In this event the runners will run in a straight line across a field as fast as they can. The distance is fairly short so the Pokemon needs to have a good start, strong acceleration and and overall high top speed to cross the line first! However, before we introduce our contestatnts let's look back at the results from our last event.

Comentators: Gen 1 has now taken their second gold thanks to the Mountain/ Rock climb and now we are heading into what a lot of sports fans are calling the main event. We are about 1/3 through the competition and the competition just continues to heat up. Generation 1 is coming into the Run Sprint hard, bringing in their two big sprinters Arcanine and Rapidash, we should remind you that Arcanine was 2nd in the Marathon and Rapidash was 3rd. They are extremely fast Pokemon and will be a force to be reckoned with. Generation 2 has brought in Suicune and Houndoom. Suicune is one of the fastest runners and has been seen running through and around johto at very high speeds. Houndoom isn't a push over either so this team might just take it. Generation 3 has brought in Manetric and Blaziken, another set of Powerful runners who may take the gold. Generation 4 has brought in Luxray and Lucario. These Pokemon will have some trouble against the others as they aren't known for their speed but who knows what could happen. Generation 5 has been struggling but recently they have been picking up steam and with their line up of Zebstrika and Zoroark they clearly want to keep that momentum going. They have a good shot at the gold medal and they will do everything in their Power to get it. Finally Generation 6 has brought in Greninja and Pyroar. Greninja is an all arounder who is good at everything, but if I had to say what his best was I would say this is it. Greninja's body is designed for quick movement especially on land. Pyroar is not to be underestimated either.
The Athletes are now under starting orders. On your mark! Get set! Bang!
