I know!  That's why so many people still buy tape cassettes, CD's, and VHS tapes.

If you have a point it is being lost on me. Tape cassettes a d VHS tapes are dead technologies, that were replaced with superior physical products.  And as for CDs, they are hardly a good comparison. Going digital for music is generally cheaper and there isn't the same second hand market/trade-in culture in music that there is for games.

When All Digital musice came out it would take people hours to download music - as most people were on dial up.  Still it's grown and taken over.

I do agree with you, they are old tech that died.  But I would say the same about Blu-ray.  It's a dead or dying tech.  It's 10 years old, and still can't even dominate over verabled DVD players.  Look at the top 12, in most of the sales, the DVD sells TWICE what the Blu-ray does:

Blu-rays are like newspappers.  They are still around, but becoing something quant.
So you think 4K Blu-ray will save them?  Well, 4k Streaming on Youtube and Netflix has been out for a couple of years now, and we still do not have 4K Blu-rays.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!
