Both short-term fads and long-term technological foundations would qualify. They have a super dedicated core of fans they can count on pretty much no matter what, they just need to find ways to entice people who are currently spending their money elsewhere. |
Yes but in that light the Wii U would be a relevant console if I follow the bolded theory, because that fanbase will barely get the NX over 20 million, which is not going to be enough to compete sales wise with the two, which dictates relvancy in my opinion. I doubt Nintendo will announce the new next gimmick those things are hit or miss, DS and Wii where hit 3D and tablet where miss. So they to entice people during the entire gen with high quality games but I don't see them doing that on there own and Nintendo is to proud to let third parties mengle with the crearion af there system which leads in most cases to abondonment and software draughts, I don't see Nintendo easily fix that, perhaps with another president which understands the market of today because another Wii U is never going to break the 30 million boundary.
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
