Obviously I know he's a literal politican. 

 

If you were familiar with the term it has a second definition that's commonly accepted and it means (from dictionary.com) a person who acts in a manipulative and devious way, typically to gain advancement within an organization.

 

Trump is not this. 99% of anyone who has ever run for politics either is that or the public perceives them of that. 

 

So let that new found knowledge sink in before you get a hard on for attacking people such as myself. 

That sounds about right. Being called a politician or being compared to one is not a good thing in the states. Also, politicians typically have someone pulling their strings for the donations they got. Trump doesn't owe anyone any favors for donations so that's another reason why he's seen as more honest than a typical politician.
