YOY invrease? What mean YOY increase honestly? Last year PS4 was selling at death level, the double of 0 is 0.

And why next year PS4 should have a 50% increase YOY all week? Of course 2016 can be good for PS4 thanks the week of Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, but i see 0 reason for PS4 to be up YOY so much with nothing. Is just like Wii U in the US, in 2013 was selling at death level, and in 2014 during a normal month withouth new released was easy up YOY, like in April, 35k in 2013 and 48k in 2014. Those Wii U sales was good because a huge YOY increase? Not even close.

That's a similar situation with PS4, is selling better than the death console of last year, but those numbers are still bad.

So you are saying if console does not meet your expectation sales wise it must be doing bad. You could say that if you completely ignore past sales of a console and the current trend. Last years sales are exactly the reason why PS4 is doing so great at the moment. I'd compare PS4 to Vita. Vita was selling under 10k for a long time but managed to turn its course and was selling +20k for some time. Unlike Vita which could not grow further and started decline, I believe PS4 will push further.

Are you questioning the significance of YOY comparison tool? YOY is one of the best tools to evaluate the success and future potential of a product. PS4 was nowhere near 0 sales, I believe it hovered 5-10k outside Destiny and Fifa release weeks. Again PS4 could only be seen as selling at death level if you completely ignore the situation where PS4 was at the time. Death level sales are different to each console depending in a lot of factors. If 3DS was selling 5k/week last year it would have been death level, PS4 5k/week it is completely different.

2016 will be better simply because PS4 will get more games released and pricecut will happen sooner or later. Of course pricecut could happen this year but nevertheless PS4 will get major boost to its baseline with pricecut. I'm not saying PS4 will be up every week but in general PS4 will sell a lot more next year.
