wow - a lot of smaller devs out to make a name for themselves are targeting the Wii right now and fair play to em, with High Voltage, Jet Black, Renegade Kid all making the right noises, THQ offering interesting titles, SEGA tapping into some old skool style sonic love and the wii sales of sonic titles showing other consoles the way, Majestico's Blastworks build and destroy looking really interesting and Wii Pro Evo showing Konami that creativity and not lazy kiddie games will flourish on the Wii.

By the time the Ubisofts of this world come to their senses then these smaller devs may have a code base, engine, dev tools, experience and a franchise or two behind them to bring to the table.
Dont forget Krome Studios who is working on Star Wars force Unleashed and Atari(Theyre really Infogrames BTW its not the Atari that we know of) doing Alone in the Dark 4. About THQ- just let us leave it like that.
