Because now is too late, the damage is done, the wiiu losed the third party support because all of that and now NX looks to be too close to spend 300$ on the console, but still there is at least a 5 - 8% of the Wii userbase that will buy the console with time, but that doesn´t mean that the rest thinks is shit, as I say before around 50% are not even interested on consoles anymore, the rest have different reasons and SOME of them thinks is shit, not the 90%, that´s completely false.
