Great, guess what Sony isn't banking on you to do that. You are a hardcore gamer, you likely still have your PS3, Sony isn't expecting people like us to go wild for PSNow.

It's the same with the PSNow subscription people were asking for even though Sony apparently wasn't looking to implement one initially, just people misinterpreting themselves as the target audience for something clearly not targeted at them.

I am completely certain that PSNow will not reach its real potential until it's available on way more devices with a screen, TVs, Smartphones, Tablets even PCs, cause the targeted audience are the people without a console, that may just want an easy way to play a game once in a while without having to pay still over a hundred bucks to get a PS3. It's all about convenience for those people, not, as is commonly assumed, using PSNow as way of ripping us off instead of giving us BC on PS4.

Well for PS3 games that's fair enough. But what about older games? Many hardcore gamers still want to play PS1/PS2 games and having one of those older consoles still around isn't as easy as having a PS3. They aren't made any more and the PS2 at least seemed to have a pretty high defect rate. PS3 not only had disc based BC but also had downloadable versions of older games (more so PS1 than PS2 but still), yeah that meant paying for them again but the cost was small and they are regularly on sale so it isn't much of an issue. PS Now isn't just about PS3 games, it's supposed to be about the whole PS back catalogue right? So wouldn't it be nice to have access to those older PS1/2 games for a small one time fee just like we could with the PS3 rather than having to constantly pay every time we wanted to play them?

Just an assumption on my part, but I'm pretty sure PS1&PS2 games will be made available for purchase on the PSN sooner or later, so you'll be able to do that. Why that hasn't happened yet I have no idea. Stupid Sony being stupid Sony I guess.
