Theirs is a game engine that is only used within their company. Mine is a game studio. I doubt I will run into any legal issues. Also, I found out that if there shouldn't be any legal clash since we aren't in the same country. I'm literally still processing my company registration so the name can change, but the goal of the company, which decides the name, won't change. Here's my goal and the kind of names I'd come up with, so maybe someone here can suggest something better:
Goal: to make games and educational apps that enlighten while entertaining. Games will have stories that teach Christian values, and gameplay compelling enough that people won't avoid the games if they have a bias against Christianity (the way my younger brother who hates the depiction of greek legends in GOW has finished all the GOW games). Apps will be highly interactive encyclopedias with mini-games for teaching kids and teenagers more effectively than some formal educational settings.
Names I've been considering:
1. Luminous Game Studios
2. Enlighten Studios (already taken in Nigeria)
3. Illuminate Media
4. Illuminare (latin for Luminous)
3DS: tolu619
Wii U: FoyehBoys
Vita, PS3 and PS4: FoyehBoys
XBoxOne: Tolu619
Switch: Tolu619
