If Avatar has a 10 or 20 year anniversary re release can it pass the 3 billion mark?

So much this. For the best box office of all time it sure has been forgotten. I actually wonder if any of its sequels will even be capable of breaking the $1b mark.

it was so dependant on the 3d stuff drawing people.  Now that everything is 3d and we all realize that it's not that great of a movie (it hardly even plays on TV and no one really talks about it compared to stuff like TDK or Iron Man or Gladiator that came out before it and made way less money).
