So? Sorry i dont get your point. We were talking about Nintendo hardcore fans that are interested in the new Zelda. I said many of those people already got a wii u. You said "No, just 10 mio got a Wii U, but 3ds sold 50 mio units so there are still 40mio fans that dont have a wii u". Then i prooved that even on the large 3ds Userbase the amount of zelda fans is as small as on wii u.

 

2. Buying both consoles goes for people who make those purchases years apart. It's not going to happen within a few months.

Of course Nintendo said that NX won't replace the Wii U. If they had said that, it would basically be an official death blow to the Wii U. Just look at how Sony reacted when they called the Vita a legacy system; their clarification for the statement was laughable. Nintendo did their PR work better, but that doesn't mean that they aren't already in the process of shifting their development resources towards NX and away from 3DS and Wii U. The reason why this year's E3 was focused on 2015 releases and not much beyond is that the pipeline for 2016 will be rather dry. Revealing that at this time would certainly not raise confidence in the current Nintendo systems, so Nintendo simply avoided talking about it. And by the time it becomes apparent to everyone that there isn't much left for the 3DS and Wii U, the NX will be unveiled and people will be looking forward to that instead of complaining that the 3DS and Wii U are approaching the ends of their respectivelifecycles.

You work for Nintendo or thats just your speculations? Because you made it sound like facts...

3. That's the hardcore way of thinking: People who didn't suffer through the era of Wii U ownership don't deserve to play Zelda.

Every home console always got its own Zelda. If you dont have this homeconsole, you cant play this zelda title. Thats why many people buy every nintendo console.
