it is really worth $60 for those who are waiting for more content before playing. Learning curve is not that hard on turf wars, the game is easy to comprehend even for the casual gamers who aren't really into shooters. The ranked battle is a little bit tough if you are always on the losing side.
And the splatfest is a blast which occurs few weeks/a month in between for now.
I haven't played a ton of ranked battles on different modes hence I can provide in depth details about it.
Overall, I'm good with the $60 purchase since day 1.
