Because watching Goku shoot off a Kamehameha or Fuu look for her father are completely different from the experience you get from Dragon Quest.
Now, people who like anime but don't like anime based games....that's confusing. They tend to, critically, suck, but they're made specifically for the fans of the shows. If you watch Naruto and don't like Ultimate Ninja Storm, you're weird
