I joined around the end of January this year, but didn't really start becoming active until a few months ago. I mostly joined because my main forum had been suffering from copious amounts of downtime and I was getting tired of waiting for it to come back up. It had a good streak for awhile though, so I slowly stopped visiting this place for much more than getting a general idea of current console sales. Then there was another large bout of downtime, so I decided to stop by here and ended up posting quite a bit over the course of a couple days. I faded out again, and finally came back for what seems to be a long term stay at the start of this summer.
As a gamer, I mostly deal with Sony these days, as Nintendo has slowly stopped appealing to me since the days of the Wii, although I still lightly deal with their handheld line (not nearly as much as I did with the DS though). Microsoft I've always seen as a bit redundant since their exclusives don't appeal to me and otherwise multiplats are all available on the Sony end already. I don't game as much as I used to, although I've gamed more this past month than I did most of the year leading up to that point, so that's something.
My favorite game for over a decade now is still Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Because it's a masterpiece.
