Nintendo fires editor for appearing in a podcast, Cliff Bleszinski buts in

I haven't watched the video, but it sounds like it was an NDA violation. If he was divulging non-public information about his employer without their consent, I'm actually pretty surprised that he was...well, surprised. I don't even work in marketing/PR, and I've had to take several training courses on this.

That being said...I do feel sympathetic for the guy. If the information wasn't damaging, a termination shouldn't be necessary in my eyes. But maybe I'm just being sentimental. From a corporate perspective, I don't think Nintendo was really in the wrong (nor most companies with agreements like this), but it's kinda sad to remove someone so passionate about their legacy.
