no console in history had it's peak year in year 2*
not the wii, not the ps3, not the xb360, not the ps2, not the original xbox or n64

but xbox one is now wiiu or dreamcast

PS2 peaked in 2002, it's 2nd full year. GameCube peaked in 2003, it's 2nd full year.
