June was a five week month, July is four weeks. So the weekly sales rate would have increased from ~75k to ~100k in your example.

Huh. Looking at my calendar it seems like June should be 4 weeks and July 5 weeks. Oh well, that mucks things up a bit with the notion that July could be higher than June for PS4.
