well, Splatoon is really going against all the usual sales patterns so far, especially for a shooter so I don't think i should bet against it. I've been waiting for the usual Japan sales pattern to settle in over time, but it's just not. This week the sales went up significantly for what reason i don't know. I can't seem to predict it because of this so i won't. I will say however that games can drop out of favor in Japan rather quickly, that doesn't mean it will.
