Already have all the good games on disc. It would suck having to open collectors editions just to play a game I bought digital rights for, for less than $10, so I wouldn't have to dig into my retirement fund. Yeah but... unless said game has a limited print run AND you know for a fact that demand is going to be really high, it's impossible to predict what will appreciate in value. And even if you could, it's still a crap shoot. I have Moonwalker on Genesis and all 6 Megaman games on NES. Demand is high, production runs were small (relatively speaking lol) yet none of the games could fetch me more than 100 bucks each on Ebay.

Collecting games is awesome. I do it myself but, I wouldn't expect to retire off of them. Very few games sell for big bucks. The only ones that do are ones that are older and have extremely small runs (Nintendo Championship etc).
