The show was less than the sum of its parts. It was ponderously slow in places and it felt disjointed most of the time. It's like they took all the elements that made TD1 great and ramped them up, or down, to the extreme ably demonstrating that more is not always better. I found with a few episodes that for 3/4 of the time it was slow and boring, and then the last 5 or 10 minutes was all action and excitement. The episode with the Mexican shoot out was one of those. I was basically nodding off through most of the show and then suddenly BAM! major gun battle and Bill dies.
