 If you can afford a BMW 5 series, you can afford a Lotus Exige S, and if you can afford that, you can race right next to the ferrari. Bad example there.

 Your example made me think "I can buy a RCA flat screen TV for 800$ and does that mean it sucks because the 1600$ same size/resolution Sony makes the RCA not good enough?" I would disagree. I would buy the Samsung for 1000$, which is just as good as the Sony, for a fraction more.

Also, if you wanna compare a BMW to a Ferrari, compare a Z4. ;) 

Seems you are totally missing the point.  Point was cause there is something better doesn't mean what you have isn't good enough.  Blu Ray may be better than DVD but does not mean all of a sudden DVD isn't good enough.  And it most certainly wasn't about racing one car with another which you seem to be doing bringing in Z4 and Lotus.  You don't suggest racing a 4 bedroom house against a 6 bedroom house do you.
