Because Sony isn't listening to the community. No "[username] is Online" notifications, we still can't set out screenshots as background, we still can't show Offline, we still can't change our PSN name, we're still stuck with 1GB Cloud Storage for each platform, still no folders, still no notifications for Party chat, still no .png screenshots, still can't buy avatars, still no uncompressed/high quality video uploads. It's a shit show!
But hey, I guess we can stream to YouTube and we can upload low quality, 10 second videos to Twitter!

All the stuff you mention is so unsegnificant. Instead demanding real relveant features like playing PS1 and PS2 CD games along recording footage for it you want irrelvant things. This is a console its for gaming, not starring at your screen

First of all, when thousands of people on the internet want those features they are pretty significant. Changing our PSN name has been requested since the PS3 launched and is currently the leading suggestion on the PlayStation website, and Friend log-in notifications is 5th (not counting those already In Action): http://share.blog.us.playstation.com/ideas/popular/
Also, you think PS1 and PS2 BC is coming? Just watch Sony milk that shit with PS Now. Sure it would be an amazing feature to play your PS1 and PS2 discs and your PS1 and PS2 digital classics, but Sony can't even be arsed to put in the most simple of features. Sony is doing a piss poor job with Firmware updates, nobody can deny that. Seriously, how the fuck does Sony come up with the list in the OP after 6 months?!

they cant milk it with PSnow because they dont produce original Hardware anymore for PS2 and PS1 like the emotion engine CPU. If they wanted it to be in PSnow they would have to write an x86 emulator therefor they might as well make it a feature of the console.
