They don't like taking chances with a lot of other characters is one problem. And then when the movie messes up. It takes them years to try something else. So, by the time they reached another movie. Marvel has gone through 5. And setup a connected universe. People like consistancy. Even if the movie fails. You gotta go on to something else. Incredible Hulk is considered the poor movie. If he was on DC. Then only Iron Man movies would of been made. While nothing else would of been done. Marvel continued with Cap, Thor etc. and didn't really care if that was a miss.
DC is even more stupid. Since the entire property line is owned by WB. No BS issues with rights and so forth. You'd think they have an easier time.
