I was wondering what people here thinks about the artstyle of both games. Brawl's realism or Smash 4's more...colorful look? Definitely not realism. Try to ignore HD out of this.
Personally I liked Brawl's artstyle more as characters like Marth, Samus, Fox, Lucas, and a lot others look far better than their smash 4 counterpart imo. Though I understand that characters in Smash 4 like Mario, Pikachu, Toon Link, ZSS, and such might look better to others. That's not to say Smash 4's artstyle is bad though, I just prefer Brawl more.
