There are flaws on those spinoff a but if you don't like it, don't buy it. If you think AAA type game from those established IPs would come, it won't. It is really hard to create a lot of AAA games year in year out with Nintendo as they don't have that super big development teams to cater to all IPs.
There is also a fault on Nintendo on not really listening to the fans and create big games, but if the budget to create a greate Metroid Prime or other established IPs are far too greater than the profit they could get or even break even, then they won't risk it too much. |
Nintendo could have release a 2D metroid game that was a sequel to GBA one, that people have been asking for forever. I guarantee it would have garnered less hate and hell would have probably cost less.

That is also true. Again I've said, Nintendo has a share of the blame. Especially nowadays, the standards would be an HD game for a HC, with an epic story and story should be more than 10 hours for most gamers.
