The Sponge:
Sub Weapon. A grenade/mine which slowly takes away all ink in it's targeted area until it's fully soaked. If an Inkling get's caught in it's area of effect it looses all it's ink, too.
The Supersponge:
Special weapon. Similar to the normal sponge, but with a greater area of effect, faster ink soaking - and this one exlodes in the thrower's ink color once it's fully soaked.
